With daily rainstorms in the White Mountains for the past month, this is the time to find the best wildflowers. The meadows around Hannagan Meadows in the White Mountains are showing carpets of sneezeweed and white aster.  The creeks are lined with cone flowers, marsh mallow and some Gunnison Mariposa lilies.

Marsh Mallow GreerCone and Larkspur

Greer Arizona has a very good wildflower bloom now on the upper Little Colorado River just south of town.  Follow Main Street till it turns to dirt and dead ends at the trail head. The creek here is covered with Cone Flowers, Marsh Mallow, and Larkspur to name a few. In 2-3 weeks try the Greer Lakes area for carpets of flowers.
