"Wild About Wildflowers: High Country" with Arizona Highways Photography Workshops
Cost: $495

Join photographers and authors of “Wild in Arizona:  Photographing Arizona’s Wildflowers,” Colleen Miniuk-Sperry and Paul Gill on exciting weekend workshop aimed at improving your macro and landscape photography techniques while capturing stunning images of wildflowers in Arizona’s high country.

Besides learning how best to control your camera’s aperture, shutter speeds, and ISOs to record  beautiful blooms, Colleen and Paul will also share special tips for making memorable photographs and overcoming challenges specific to close-up photography like dealing with the wind, using artificial backgrounds, and implementing the “Dutch tilt” for more dynamic compositions.

The location for the photo shoots will be decided prior to the start of the workshops based on best wildflower blooms in the Flagstaff area.  Potential locations include Bonito Park, Mormon Lake, Ashurst Lake, Harts Prairie, and the Arboretum at Flagstaff.
